West Branch teacher killed in crash

BELOIT — A two-vehicle accident Thursday morning claimed the life of a Beloit Elementary School teacher.
Jennifer Baker, 33, Kensington, was driving south at 8:38 a.m. Thursday on Rochester Road .6 miles south of Georgetown Road in Butler Township when a northbound vehicle driven by Rikki Wheatley III, 19, Mechanicstown, went left of center and struck Baker’s vehicle head-on, according to the Lisbon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Baker, who was not wearing a seat belt, died as a result of the collision.

Apple OSX 10.6 - Snow LeopardMon, July 6, 2009 @ 4:09PM While there don't seem to be any drastic improvements in the interface, Apple's Snow Leopard OSX 10.6 operating system promises to use next generation technologies to "unleash the power of today's advanced hardware." What I am most excited about is the lower price of the upgrade $29, instead of the typical $129. In addition, the OS is supposed to speed up the shut down time to a fraction of what it currently takes. Unfortunately for some Mac users, the new system will only run on Intel based machines, this rendering all pre-Intel G-5s and other units non-upgradable. This new system should arrive some time in September, 200.

Transformers 2 Revenge of the FallenWed, June 24, 2009 @ 8:03PM Here is a short description of the movie, if you don't want to know before you see it then skip the following paragraph. The movie picks up where the first left off, opening with the Autobots in league with a secret arm of the military searching out and destroying hidden Decepticons whose purpose on earth is still not fully known. The action starts right away and the Autobots learn of the ominous threat of The Fallen. The story then shifts to Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) as he prepares to go off to college. After finding a shard of the Allspark in his clothes, he once again becomes a target of the Decepticons. At college he discovers his new roommate is obsessed with conspiracy theories about the transformers, but that is the least of his problems when the Decepticons attack. The President decides that the Autobots do more harm than good and dissolves their alliance, making the job of finding out what the Fallen is much harder.
