Clippers, Bears will clash

Most of the Inter-Tri County League upper tier is probably wishing the first week never happened as the league took it on the chin with a 3-5 mark to start the season. One exception is Columbiana. The Clippers went into a hostile environment Saturday night and came out on top against Steubenville Catholic Central 27-13 in a victory Clipper coach Bob Spaite is relishing. “I’m not going to lie or sell this one short,” Spaite said. “This was huge for our program and for our team considering how beat up we are. But that’s over now.
