I can understand that some folks got in trouble financially and deserve a break for a year or two but there are some companies that haven't paid taxes for years. If the property tax is more than 2 years delinquent foreclose on the property and offer it at sheriffs sale. It's like kids, they will get away with as much as they can. A lot of these delinquencies are folks that can easily pay the taxes, but prefer to make interest off of the money instead. If they learned that foreclosure was going to occur they will pay up, and once foreclosed, they should have no option to stop it. Either get the property back on the tax roles or let the state take ownership. Go to the Auditors website and check out some of folks. It is public record who pay's and who doesn't. You would be surprised at who doesn't

EP voters who put our deadbeat taxpayer (high standing) slumlord/council/chamber fella back in should be ashamed of themselves. And Mr tax evader should be ashamed of himself enough to step down and let our village leaders that pay their taxes and do good for our village. Why on earth would our village want someone like this to represent this East Palestine?
