Kudos to you Lisbon Council! Now could you talk some sense into East Palestine Village Council? It would be appreciated! We have two men on council that are out to destroy our land and water with no thought or care about the village people. They just see money, nothing else. Again, kudos and hats off to you!

Although I'm all for putting gas in my car and heating my home, I have to say I don't want to hear water being taken out when I go to enjoy a day at the park. Plenty of other places to get water from.

Docman/jason/hadenough big difference between $900 and $500,000. But someone like you wouldn't understand that concept. You only see big bad oil/gas company.

Jason: cruiser NEEDS that money! So for the Elzers, it's gimme, gimme, gimme. They will learn you can't drink money. Hopefully their personal property is the FIRST to get contaminated!

Now you are talking to yourself that's crazy. Also I haven't drank city water in my life so that's a non issue. Don't cook with it either. Drill baby drill. Love seeing that flame lite on rt 14.

There's a bigger picture, money is lovely but it's NOT everything. Yes dirty water and dirty air is a concern but if you are soooo worried about it then don't eat meat (it's a risk) don't drive (it's a risk) don't do anything that may be risky. We need gasoline and some folks need natural gas. I mean if you're against drilling and fracking then you might as well sign up for not fueling your car or heating your home or any of the other daily activities that need oil and natural gas to operate. Things happen, it's life. I mean I know people in those fields, and I don't have a side. I just prefer driving to walmart and not walking. There are just as many negatives as positives. Just agree to disagree and move on. Life's too short to waste your time arguing.
