WOOSTER - Alicia Marie Abdalla became the bride of Christopher Matthew Hawkins Nov. 29, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in a ceremony officiated by Father Stephen Moran and Deacon William George, cousin of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cecilia Abdalla, Hammondsville.
The groom is the son of Douglas and Carole Hawkins, Brunswick.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a diamond white chiffon gown featuring a ruched, asymmetrical draped overlay accented by sparkling crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses created by her cousin Valerie Johnson.
In harvest gold dresses were Nicole Campana, maid of honor, and Valerie Johnson, matron of honor. Wearing matching gowns were bridesmaids Andrea Abdalla, Jenna Abdalla, Marissa Cosentino, Alesci Hawkins, Carmen Luckino and Magdalene Luckino. Olivia Crawford was junior bridesmaid. Maria Abdalla and Sophia Crawford were mini-maids.
Scott Hawkins and Michael Abdalla, Jr., served as the best men. Groomsmen were Breenan Calvey, David Clarke, Adam Hutcheson, Adam Likowski, Robert Lipowski, and Anthony Smith.
Altar servers were Joseph Abdalla Jr. and Nicholas Crawford, cousins of the bride. Readings were given by Joseph Abdalla, uncle of the bride, and John Abdalla, cousin of the bride. Programs were distributed by Nicole Lawrence, cousin of the groom. Vocalists were Katelyn Rotuno and MaryAnn Crawford, aunt of the bride, violinist was Amy Glick, and organist/pianist was Barbara Hufford.
A reception followed at The Pines Banquet Facility, Orrville. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at TJ's Restaurant, Wooster.
Following a July Alaskan cruise, the couple reside in Wooster.
The bride is an intervention specialist at Wooster High School.
The groom is a firefighter for the Wooster City Fire Department.
