COLUMBIANA - Jennifer Alicia Parfel became the bride of Michael Andrew Witmer, May 1, at St. Jude Church in a ceremony conducted by Father Tom Ziegler.
The bride is the daughter of Duane Parfel and David and Sandy Williams, all of Louisville.
The groom is the son of Margie and Rich Witmer, Columbiana.

Escorted by her fathers, the bride wore a strapless white gown with pearls and pink floral embroidery and pink ballet slippers. A tiara of pearls and rhinestones secured her waist length veil that was accented with crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet made up of all her maids pink flowers.
Meghan Witmer, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor in a watermelon pink strapless bubble dress. In matching dresses were Dana Parfel, matron of honor, sister-in-law of the bride; and bridesmaids Nicole Witmer, sister-in-law of the groom; and Elizabeth Palette. Serving as flower girl was Isabelle Parfel, niece of the bride.
Richard Witmer, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsman were Dan Houck, Nick George and Matt Fullerton. Ushers were Chris Parfel, brother of the bride; and Chris Bader. Ring bears were Ethan Davis, godson of the groom; Clay Parfel, nephew of the bride; and Cyrus Witmer, nephew of the groom.
Lauran and Andrew McCarty, cousins of the groom, presided the guestbook.
A reception, attended by approximately 275 guests, was held at St. Jude Hall.
After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Lisbon.
