Pennells celebrate 65th year

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Courtney and Vivian (Manse) Pennell, formerly of Lisbon, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Aug. 9.

Over the years, the couple has resided in Coshocton, Zanesville, and Zephyrhills, Fla.

Mr. Pennell retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio in 1986 after 40 years of service. He is a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and has been a member of the Masons for 53 years.

Mrs. Pennell worked as a secretary for the Lisbon and Coshocton Public Schools during the 1960s and 1970s.

The couple have two children, Debra Denning, Indianapolis, Ind.; Scott Pennell, Norwalk, Conn.; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
