LISBON -Mr. and Mrs. Olan Morris, Trinity Church Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by their children and spouses on Aug. 14 at the Lisbon Methodist Church.
Approximately 60-70 guests attended the party and vow renewal. The Rev. Pam Gabel performed the vow renewal ceremony.
The former Joanne Parrish, daughter of Clifford and Freda Parrish, married Olan Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morris on Aug. 13, 1960 at the Lisbon Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Spangler.

Mr. Morris has worked for Lisbon Spring and Wire, E.W. Bliss Co., and Carriage Hill Foods.
Mrs. Morris has worked for Tusick Enterprises, Gerbers Manufacturing Co., Salem Community Hospital, and the Lisbon Public School System.
They have been members of various Camp Fire Groups, Trinity Friends Church, and the Lisbon First United Methodist Church.
The couple have three children, Mrs. Rick (Lisa) Pearson, Salem; Randy (Marci) Morris, Lisbon; and Tammi Morris, Winona. They also have four grandchildren.
The couple also traveled to Myrtle Beach with their daughter Lisa and two grandchildren.
