Casino in Toledo faces $4,000 fine over slots

June 17, 2014
Associated Press

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Ohio's casino commission says operators of the Hollywood Casino Toledo are facing a $4,000 fine over a procedural violation involving four slot machines.

The state says the casino operated at least four slot machines that had not been verified or sealed by casino regulators.

A spokeswoman for the Ohio Casino Control Commission says the violation didn't impact the outcomes on the machines.

The Blade newspaper (http://bit.ly/1qpEKma ) in Toledo reports that a proposed settlement calls for the casino to pay a $4,000 fine and make sure its slot machines are verified.

A spokesman for Penn National Gaming Inc., the casino's owner and operator, says the situation did not affect the operation of the games.
