45th year for Salem couple

SALEM - Wayne and Judi Allio celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary recently at the Brown Derby Restaurant, Streetsboro.

The former Judi Pelliccioni, daughter of the late Merle and Stella (Berardi) Pelliccioni, Ellsworth, married Wayne Allio, son of the late Howard and Helen Allio, Pennsylvania, on June 4, 1966 at Real Life Church. The Rev. William T. Dick, Columbus, officiated.

Mr. Allio is a Navy veteran and broadcast engineer. He worked as a chief engineer for WSOM and WQXK, Salem-Youngstown, WTOF in Canton, and WHLO in Akron, before retiring in 2003.

Mrs. Allio is a former legal secretary and long-time Salem City Council clerk. She is also the Salem Historical Society and Columbiana Area Business and Professional Women vice-president. She is a past secretary and president of Salem Community Theatre's Board of Trustees.

They couple have one daughter, Cristina Garlough.
