LISBON - Eddie Dell Talbott, 61, of Steubenville Pike Rd., passed away peacefully at 11:27am, Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Hospice House of Poland.
Mr. Talbott was born January 24, 1950 in East Liverpool, a son of the late Edgar and Hazel (Post) Talbott and had lived most of his life in the area.
Eddie worked in the maintenance department at East Manufacturing, until he became disabled in 2001.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Talbott also served our country as a member of the U.S. Army, serving stateside during Vietnam.
He is survived and will be dearly remembered by his wife, Rhoda Dineen, whom he married in October of 1994; daughter, Tracy Talbott of Lisbon; a son, Shawn Talbott of Draper, Utah; sisters, Bonnie Kennedy of Lisbon and Lonna Rockenhauser of East Liverpool, Ohio; grandchildren, Nickie Talbott, Courtney Talbott, Paige Talbott, and Alex Talbott; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Eddie was also preceded in death by his son, Troy Talbott; sister, Winnie Talbott; and brother, Larry Talbott.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11am until 1pm, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Eddie and Rhoda's home, 14176 Steubenville Pike Rd., Lisbon. No funeral services will be observed.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.
