Lindsey Marie Moore weds Brandon S. Laney

EAST PALESTINE - Lindsey Marie Moore became the bride of Brandon Scott Laney during an outdoor ceremony on Sept. 24 at the Cheers Chalet, Lancaster.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Bonnie Moore, East Palestine.

The groom is the son of Rick and Helen Laney, West Jefferson.

Cheryl Evans performed the double ring ceremony.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory strapless gowns which featured a pleated organza bust with fitted bodice, and a chapel length train. Her skirt fell into asymmetrical tiers of beaded lace and pleated organza. An ivory and crystal beaded headpiece secured her veil that was edged with ivory beading. She carried a bouquet of dark blue and dark pink hydrangeas, and ivory roses, wrapped in ivory ribbon with ivory pearl pins.

In dark blue dresses with dark pink sashes were Abbie Kay, Beaufort, S.C., matron of honor; and Veronica Ocanas, Columbus, maid of honor. In matching dresses were bridesmaids, Mariel Montoney, New Waterford and Cristina De Los Santos, Cincinnati. Junior bridesmaid was Kaylee Quigley, East Palestine; and Alexis Evans, Columbus, served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best men were Mitchell Swaney, Pain City; and Jaymes Jenks, West Jefferson. Groomsmen were Jeff Laney, Columbus; and John Quigley III, East Palestine. Ring bearers were Hunter Shaffer, New Waterford; and Nicholas Laney, Columbus.

A reception for 150 guests followed at the Cheers Chalet. A rehearsal dinner was held at the Hampton Inn, Lancaster.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Crestview High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio State University where she earned a bachelor's in social work. She received a master's in social work from OSU in 2010. She is currently a social worker at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Madison Plains High School. He graduated in 2008 from Toller Technical Center for fire and EMS, and from Grant Medical Center in 2012 for paramedic.

He is currently a firefighter/paramedic for the Jefferson Township Fire Department.

Following a honeymoon to Hocking Hills, the couple resides in West Jefferson.
