From the ground up

Sean McCormick of Main Street in Leetonia is definitely a do-it-yourselfer as he continues to work on the 32-by-40-by-14-foot garage he and his brother, Kevin, are building from scratch. McCormick used 120 tons of fill dirt for the foundation, which he allowed to settle over the course of about a year before starting to build the frame. McCormick drew up the plans that include 12-foot doors and hot and cold running water inside. McCormick says when the time comes, the cement floor will take at least four large loads.
