SOUTHINGTON - Deborah Koffel, Southington, is announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Dawn M. Koffel, to Brian W. Allison, son of Judy Sutherin, East Palestine; and Jack Allison, New Waterford.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Glen Koffel. She owns DK Show Horses in West Farmington and is a substitute classroom assistant with the Trumbull County Educational Service Center.
Her fiance is employed with Front Street Trucking, Niles.

The couple is planning an open wedding ceremony on Aug. 25 at the New Waterford Park. Invitations will be issued for the reception to follow at the Saxon Club.
