COLUMBIANA - Bea Johnson, 86, of Columbiana, passed away Saturday afternoon at Whispering Pines Village surrounded by her loving family.

Bea was born on May 8, 1926 in Grove City, Pa., the daughter of Preston and Bertha (Nicklin) Corey.

She was part of the Lazy Bean Cafe for 10 years, recently retiring in May. Her real passion in life was for cooking and catering.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Bea leaves to cherish her precious memory, her daughters, Linda (Al) Cobourn of Hayesville, N.C., Mary Ann (John) Channell of Leetonia, and Carol (Keith) Musselman of Cape Coral, Fla; a son, Jim (Michelle) Johnson of Columbiana; a brother, Earl (Jane) Corey of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, Todd, Devon, and Rick Johnson, Anthony and Richard (Stacy) Pardal, Lauren Caraotta, and Justina and Jared Channell; and one great-grandson, Carter Johnson.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Johnson, whom she married on Sept. 20, 1947 and passed away on Oct. 16, 1979; her second husband, Louis Cicuto, whom she married on May 7, 1982 and passed away on March 7, 1992; a son, Ricky Johnson; and two brothers, Robert and Glenn Corey.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with the Rev. Jan Winnale officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Columbiana Cemetery.

The Johnson family would like to express their gratitude to the loving and professional staff at Whispering Pines Village for their outstanding care.
