All-Review Golf addition

EAST LIVERPOOL - Beaver Local golfer Hayden Moore was inadvertantly left off All-Review First Team Golf in Sunday's edition of The Review.

Bowling league results announced

EAST LIVERPOOL - Ridge Runners (27.5-12.5) leads the standings of the Walnut Ladies Bowling League. Bowling Buddies (26.5-13.5), Pin Ups and and Flaming Balls are 21-19 and Sparks' Auto Care (20-5.19.5) are the next teams in the standings. Finally, Alley Angels (20-20) and Strikers (14.5-25.5) round out the standings. Individually, Barb Mathess bowled a high game of 191 with a series of 472, Michelle Woodyard bowled a high game of 158 with a series of 464 and Frieda Kloetzly bowled a high game of 188 with a series of 458. Also, Jane Rudibaugh bowled a 169, and Paula Martin bowled a 160.

Southern Local athletic boosters meeting

SALINEVILLE -?The Southern Local athletic boosters will meet at 6 p.m. today in the high school cafeteria. New members welcome.

Basketball officials meeting being held

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Columbiana County Basketball Officials Association is holding a meeting today. If you are interested in registering to become an offical or for information, contact Rich McConnell at 330-383-3840.

Meet the Bears night being held

NEW MANCHESTER - The Oak Glen High School/Middle School Meet the Bears night will be held at 7 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the Oak Glen Field House. All team members, coaches and support staff of the high school and middle school boys and girls basketball, wrestling, and cheering teams along with the Oak Glen High School marching band will be introduced. Admission is free.

Track officials meeting being held

AUSTINTOWN - The Greater Youngstwon?Track?Officials Association will hold a mandatory state rules meeting for all coaches and officials at 6 p.m. Feb. 6th and in the Austintown Fitch Auditorium. All coaches and officials must participate in one state rules meeting per year.

Potter Prime Time being held Wednesday

EAST LIVERPOOL - Potter Prime Time is slated for Wednesday at Potter Fieldhouse. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. East Liverpool basketball teams in grades 7-12 (boys and girls) as well as coaches and cheerleaders will be introduced. The alumni basketball game also returns featuring 20 former boys' players. Many door and raffle prizes will be available.

SL Meet the Indians event to be Nov. 28

SALINEVILLE - Meet the Indians will be held Nov 28 at 6 p.m. in the high school gym followed by the mandatory state preseason parent meeting. The following winter passes will be available for purchase following the meeting: adult girls basketball $45; adult boys basketball $45; student pass $20; athlete pass $10; high school family $125; junior/senior high family $170; junior high $15; Senior Citizen passes for those living in the district are available at the superintendent's office.

East Liverpool Takedown Club meeting

EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool Takedown Club wrestling boosters will meet Tuesday in the high school wrestling room. Parents of all wrestlers encouraged to attend. Those with questions should contact coach Drumm at 330-383-9047.

Team Mojo dodgeball tournament to be held

EAST LIVERPOOL - Team Mojo Foundation will hold Black Friday Dodgeball, a single elimination tournament, at 4 p.m. Friday. The tournament is being hosted by the Downtown East Liverpool YMCA. The cost is $25. The tournament is limited to 20 teams, ages 12 and up. Details and registration forms are available online at teammojofoundation.org or from the Downtown YMCA or the Calcutta YMCA.

BLHS Athletic Hall of Fame nominations
