LISBON - Verna L. Wright, 67, of Seigler Rd., passed away peacefully at 9:38 am, Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngs-town.
Mrs. Wright was born July 5, 1945 in Salem, a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Becki) Clager, and was a life resident of the area.
A homemaker, she had attended Beaver Street Church of Christ.
Verna was an avid bowler, and was a member of the Wednesday Ladies Afternoon Delight bowling league in Hanoverton. Mrs. Wright also loved to play Bingo.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband, Robert "Bob" Wright, whom she married Feb. 20, 1965; daughter, Vicki Barnett of Lisbon; son, Rob Wright of Lisbon; sister, Edna Mae Wright of Lisbon; four grandchildren and seven great-grandsons.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her brothers, Junie Clager and Jack Rummell.
Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
