Fatal accident

Boe Endicott, 25, of Salem, sits on the back of his Chevy Silverado while an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper investigates a crash on Pine Lake Road Friday afternoon which left a bicyclist dead. J.R. Hollobaugh, 53, of Salem, was attempting to leave his driveway to travel west on Pine Lake Road on a three-wheel bicycle when he was struck by Endicott's westbound truck at 3:38 p.m. Hollobaugh was transported to Salem Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Endicott was not injured. The crash remains under investigation through the Canfield post of the Highway Patrol. Goshen Township police officers assisted with traffic control.
