Jack Frankford, 89, of Columbiana, formerly of Darlington and New Galilee, Pa., died Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Hospice of the Valley, North Lima, Ohio.
Born Sept. 16, 1923 in Lisbon, OH, he was the son of the late John and Lois Beetle Frankford.
He had been a past member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Darlington and had retired from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company where he had been a pipefitter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Velmagene Craft Frankford on Aug. 21, 2007 and a brother William Frankford.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah and Ted Wayman, Columbiana, and Leah Frankford, Columbiana, his grandchildren, Matt Yanssens and his wife Alessa, Julie Needs and her husband Jay-R. Needs, and three great-grandchildren, Jack David Yanssens, Jazlyn Marie Yanssens, and Zeva Marie Needs.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 until 3 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls.
Private burial in Seceder Cemetery, South Beaver Township.
