Ida Beadle

Salineville - Ida Loretta Melhorn Beadle, 90, of Salineville Road West, passed away peacefully at her home Monday afternoon.

Ida was born April 6, 1923 in Salineville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Gotschall Melhorn.

Ida graduated from Salineville High School, working at the Taylor, Smith and Taylor Pottery before moving with her husband and daughter to Arizona, where they lived from 1958 to 1983 before returning home to Salineville. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Salineville, enjoyed cooking and was well known for her great coffee.

Ida will be sadly missed by her daughter Nancy (Edson) Brenay at home; two nephews, Ron (Karin) Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona, Rick Hull of Canton; two nieces, Cathy (Alex) Cikra of Hartville, Rhonda (Rob) Howlman of Chandler, Arizona and numerous cousins.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Beadle to whom she was married for 64 years.

A committal service will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Salineville, Ohio at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 with Pastor Tom Allmon officiating.

The Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
