January 5, 2014
Morning Journal News

New Waterford The family and friends of Jeremy Thomas Bowker, 30, said goodbye to this sweet soul on Friday, January 3, 2014.

Jeremy was born September 1, 1983 in Salem, OH, and was a 2003 graduate of Crestview High School. His many passions including his love of music, guided him through the years that followed.

Known to his friends and family as a free spirit, and at times a stubborn one, he touched the lives of many, many people during his short journey here on Earth. He will be forever remembered as a big guy with an even bigger heart, and he loved his family and friends with all of it.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Thomas and Patricia Bowker, two brothers, David and J.D. Mackall (Angie), a sister, Samantha Mackall-Todd (John), a nephew and niece, Riley and Mackenzie Mackall, grandparents, Thomas and Joyce Bowker, girlfriend, Jean Pearce-Hartzell, as well as a large extended family and group of friends that Jeremy also considered family.

Jeremy was welcomed into heaven by a host of loved ones who have gone there before him, including his grandparents, Grace and Pirley Stanley and his great grandmother, Ora Beiling.

Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the New Waterford United Methodist Church, with Rev. Terry Brown of the church, officiating.
