Foul weather at fairgrounds

June 14, 2014
Morning Journal News

Jerry Briceland operates his excavator to remove the cut pieces of a large tree that crushed a storage building attached to the back of the newly renovated Commercial building at the county fairgrounds. No damage was done to the new part but the storage building was destroyed. As Jerry removed the fallen tree his brother, Terry who owns Timberline Tree Service in Salem worked at cutting dead and weakened branches away from the two old trees that remained standing over the building. Also working at the site was Joe Briceland. Antique milk cans and toilets along with other items in the building were smashed and scattered.
