MADISON TWP. — A 9-year-old boy died after being hit by a pickup truck in Madison Township on Saturday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol via media partner WKBN. OSHP said the boy was riding his bike when he was hit and killed around 5:45 p.m. on State Route 7 about a half-mile south of Beaver Local High School. The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, St. Clair Township Police and OSHP responded. The West Point Fire Department was on scene with an ambulance. The boy was taken to a local hospital. OSHP is investigating the fatal accident.
