Driver in fatal Salem crash identified
SALEM (WKBN) — A Salem woman has died and a passenger has been hospitalized after a car drove into a building Saturday afternoon. A release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol says the car crashed into Perry Township Garage on South Ellsworth Avenue just before 4 p.m. The driver, identified as Jennifer Engle, 56, of Salem, drove her Ford Fiesta off the left side of the roadway, crossing Snyder Avenue and crashing into the building, the release says.
