Exploring Possibilities
Lisbon’s David Anderson High School freshmen enjoyed a visit from the Mobile Career Exploration unit Nov. 19. The visit was organized by Lisbon’s Career Counselor Carrie Smith as a revolutionary way for students to engage with potential career pathways. The program sets up five interactive cart stations focused on careers that don’t require college degrees. The event is produced by the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center with assistance from the “Invent to Make Program.” Each cart represents different careers including: Energy and electricity, health careers, automotive, coding and robotics and welding.
