‘Cook’s Night Off’ March 12
Winona Methodist Church, 32114 Winona Road, will restart its monthly “Cook’s Night Off” drive-thru dinner Wednesday, March 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The menu will include roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cranberry salad, and pumpkin dessert for $12. Dinners can be pre-ordered anytime before noon that day by calling the church office at 330-222-1211. Pre-ordered dinners must be picked up by 6 p.m.
Mr. Salem discussion
Free: Mr. Salem, J.Twing Brooks,The Man & His Life, will be the topic of discussion at the Salem Public Library, Quaker Room, 6:30 p.m. March 4, presented by Salem Preservation Society. Reservations are required. Call the Library to reserve a seat at 330-332-0042.
Banquet in Salem Thursday
Friends of Banquet will sponsor the 4th Thursday Dine In or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem at 5 p.m. until food is gone Thursday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include meatball subs, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, and peaches. Dine in will park in designated area and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in library lot. Easterseals open house
An open house at the Easterseals of Northeast Ohio’s Lisbon Adult Day Center is planned for Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 pm. Community, family, and agencies are all welcome to come take a tour and get information about adult day care in Lisbon.
Cemetery decorations
All winter decorations must be removed by March 1 from the Lisbon Cemetery to facilitate the annual spring clean up. Fixed saddles and fixed vases can remain on the monuments but any remaining items on the ground will be discarded after March 1.
