East Palestine Memorial Public Library will host Home Alone Safety, presented by Akron Children’s Hospital, on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children ages 8 to 12 will learn essential skills to stay safe while home alone. Topics covered will include first aid and emergency preparedness, fire safety, cooking and kitchen safety, and more. Families will receive information about what their child learned in the class, along with resources to help them plan for their child’s safety at home.
